Borough of Manhattan Community College is opening its doors to college students dislocated by Hurricane Katrina. Along with the greater City University of New York community, BMCC is extending in-state tuition rates to all students affected by Katrina, waiving application and late-registration fees, and permitting these students to defer payment of tuition charges until there is more clarity regarding federal and state response to this emergency.
