BMCC Honors Employees with 20 to 45 Years of Service

On June 10, BMCC honored civil service employees who have accrued 20 to 45 years working at the college. A celebratory luncheon and ceremony in Richard Harris Terrace marked the occasion.

20-year honoree

Glenville Mclarty, Security Operations; presented by G. Scott Anderson, BMCC Vice President for Administration and Planning.

25-year honorees

Theodore Bensen, John Tomasello and Melvin Trotman; presented by VP Anderson.

Darlene Vandyke, Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC); presented by Carmel Paleski, MEOC Interim Executive Director.

30-year honorees

Grace Brown, the President’s Office, presented by BMCC President Antonio Pérez.

Gloria Brown, Office of the Registrar; presented by Karrin Wilks, Senior Vice President and Provost for Academic Affairs.

Robert Ajaye, Computer Center Operations; presented by Joseph Spadaro, Vice President for Technology.

Dorothy Mitchell, Scott Pettaway, Paul Rivera and Gregory Thompson, Facility Maintenance Operations; presented by VP Anderson.

35-year honoree

John Buktenica, BMCC Print Shop; presented by VP Scott Anderson.

45-year honoree

Eileen Leonardi, Office of Academic Affairs; presented by Erwin J. Wong, Dean for Academic Programs and Instruction.
