“MOVIN’ OUT” STAR ELIZABETH PARKINSON PRESENTED COSTUME AWARDS TO CHILDREN

Children attended the April 12 ballet performance of Cinderella at The Tribeca Performing Arts Center dressed as their favorite character from the story.

Elizabeth Parkinson, principal dancer with Twyla Tharp, the Joffrey Ballet and Feld Ballet, and star of Broadway’s “Movin’ Out” was on hand to present the award for best costume at the Ballet for Young Audiences.

However, the children’s costumes were so wonderful, that Parkinson finally declared, “Everyone’s a winner.” She gave an award to each child who arrived in costume.

The program was part of Tribeca Performing Arts Center’s Family Folk and Fairy Tales series.
