BOROUGH OF MANHATTAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESENTS OTHELLO, APRIL 9 AND 10

March 25, 2003

Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) will stage William Shakespeare’s Othello on April 9 and 10.

Professor Diane Dowling will direct BMCC theatre majors in Shakespeare’s tale of love, jealousy, and betrayal. Othello is the second production of BMCC’s performance-based Theatre Program, which leads to an associate in science degree.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Othello will be presented on Wednesday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., and on Thursday April 10 at 3 p. m. and 7 p.m. in Tribeca Performing Arts Center Theatre I.

To reach the college by subway, take the 1, 2, 3, 9, 4, A, C, or E, J, or M trains to Chambers Street and walk west on Chambers Street. Alternately, take the 4, 5, or 6 to Brooklyn Bridge and walk west on Chambers Street, or take the N or R to City Hall and walk west on Chambers Street.
