This year’s 21st Annual Scholarship Gala attracted 350 guests to The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers on May 18th. Friends and supporters of BMCC dined and participated in a popular silent auction and raffle, honoring two outstanding individuals: Christine Larsen, Chief Operating Officer of JPMorgan Chase’s Treasury and Securities Services; and Jane Rosenthal, Film Producer and Co-Founder of the Tribeca Film Festival.
The evening’s Master of Ceremonies was CBS news anchor Dana Tyler, who spoke about her family’s history of journalism, and praised BMCC as an institution that ‘had something for everyone.’ The Gala was co-chaired by BMCC Foundation Board Chair, Elizabeth Butson, and Board members, Theresa Clark Messer (’82) and Tim Tynan. More than $300,000 was raised at this year’s event. The event raised over $300,000 in support of BMCC Foundation’s Scholarship Fund.
