JULY 22, 2003

Borough of Manhattan Community College has been selected by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education to receive a 2003 CASE/Wealth ID Award for Educational Fund Raising. The CASE/Wealth ID Award recognized superior fund-raising programs across the country.

Borough of Manhattan Community College was named to the CASE Circle of Excellence for overall improvement in fundraising over the past three years.

“We are extremely proud that CASE has named us to the Circle of Excellence,” said BMCC President Antonio Perez. “We have worked hard to build BMCC’s development program, and much of the credit for the success leading to this award goes to Ellen O’Neill, our dean of college development,” he continued.

Borough of Manhattan Community College is the largest community college in New York City with 18,000 degree-seeking students and 6,000 non-degree students.
