BMCC Holds Open House December 13 for Prospective Students

Spring semester classes commence on January 29

If you have decided to expand your horizons, learn something new, pursue a college degree, or get the accreditation you need to change careers, Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) may have an affordable, convenient solution for you.
In one visit you can learn about degree programs, tour the campus, apply, and receive admission and advisement on the spot at BMCC’s Open House, December 13 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m.—all in time to enroll for fall semester classes beginning in late January.

Borough of Manhattan Community College offers a choice of cutting-edge academic programs leading to associate’s degrees in business, liberal arts, computer, health, engineering, and human services fields. Moreover, BMCC offers students opportunities for internships that can open the door to a rewarding career.

Starting in January 2002, BMCC will offer classes at our new uptown location: 135th Street and Convent Avenue, on the campus of City College. Also starting in January 2001, we will be the only community college in New York to offer a performance-based theatre major.

The December 13 Open House will be held on the BMCC Campus at 199 Chambers Street in lower Manhattan. To reach the college by subway, take the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, J, or M trains to Chambers Street and walk west on Chambers Street. Alternately, take the 4, 5, or 6 to Brooklyn Bridge and walk west on Chambers Street, or take the N or R to City Hall and walk west on Chambers Street.
