Student Support

Student Affairs is comprised of Academic Counseling and Advising Services, and Career and Employment Development Services. The Office of Student Affairs develops and facilitates comprehensive student support services designed to foster educational and career aspirations of our students, which lead to increased retention and completion of our academic and workforce development programs. We serve as the catalyst for promoting a learning environment which reflects the values of lifelong learning, diversity, academic integrity and mutual respect.

In-Person Services for Students

The Manhattan EOC offers our services to students remotely and in-person. Please review the information below for assistance.  If you don’t see the service that you are looking for please reach out to your Advisor/Counselor in the Advisement section.

ADMISSIONS

Admissions eligibility documents can be accepted remotely by emailing them to Karen Berry at documents@man.eoc.cuny.edu.  If you need to submit documents in person, make an appointment by emailing Genet Teklehaimanot at Genet.Teklehaimanot@man.eoc.cuny.edu.

ATTAIN LAB

To make an in-person appointment email attain@man.eoc.cuny.edu.  Appointments will be available by appointment only on Tuesday, Thursdays, and/or Fridays.  Hours vary by day and are generally between the hours of 10am and 6pm.

BOOK PICK-UP

General hours for the book room are Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:45pm.  When evening classes are in session the book room has extended hours to 6:00pm.

STUDENT ID

For enrolled students with a schedule, student IDs are issued during Orientation and Monday – Thursday from 11am to 3pm in room 1526, the Public Safety office.

TESTING (ADMISSIONS)

Appointments for in-person Admissions Testing (TABE) are made on behalf of applicants to the Center and emailed directly to them.  Please check your email for your appointment.  If you need to update your email address, please speak with your Academic Advisor or Counselor.
