College Connections Project

The College Connections Project (CCP) provides comprehensive college access services to New York City adults. The CCP aims to inspire, motivate, and empower non-traditional adult students to seek higher education. Our services include one-on-one college advising, college application fee waivers, college planning workshops including CUNY Assessment Test Preparation workshops, and financial aid application assistance. About the CCP

Vision Statement: The College Connections Project provides comprehensive college access services to New York City adults. The CCP aims to inspire, motivate, and empower non-traditional adult students to seek higher education.

The CCP is based at the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC). The MEOC is administered by Borough of Manhattan Community College and supported primarily by the SUNY University Center for Academic and Workforce Development.

The CCP is a TRIO Educational Opportunity Center program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. There are more than 120 TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers in the country.

Eligibility

  • At least 19 years of age
  • A citizen, legal permanent resident, or other eligible non- citizen
  • Live in New York City
  • Not currently enrolled in college classes
  • Interested in going to college
