Admissions Manager - Operations and Systems

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Admissions. This position manages the processing of undergraduate applications and supporting documents including data upload, verification, document scanning, letter generation, transfer credit evaluation, and document archiving. This position will provide technical expertise and support in maintaining and improving processes with the student information system and key ancillary support systems.

Oversees data management processes and reporting.

Monitors business practices and customer service standards.

Ensures compliance with College’s admissions policies by supervising a team of admission evaluators trained to review and validate the academic credentials of applicants, determine course equivalencies, and render admissions decisions.

Verifies the accuracy and integrity of the data and reports prior to dissemination.

Recommends, supports and administers procedures and policies related to undergraduate admissions.

Leads new technology implementations, maintenance and enhancements of imaging system, admissions applications, prospective student forms, CRM systems and software.

Manages the generation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other data or reports upon request.

Coordinates with key stakeholders and other Enrollment Management

Services teams the seamless transition of data.

Manages and conducts performance evaluation of subordinates and support staff.


Manages on- and off-campus recruiting activities at a College or unit.

Develops and implements marketing strategies and recruitment initiatives

Manages one or more teams of admissions/recruiting staff, providing supervision, training, and development

Manages application review processes

Maintains relationships with selected academic divisions/departments to coordinate recruiting efforts

Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness of enrollment, recruitment, and marketing strategies

Performs related duties as assigned.


Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.

A proven record of accomplishment of success in admissions and progressively responsible experience in the administration of an admissions office.

An understanding of innovative uses of technology in admissions workflow processes.

Competency for analyzing application-related data and assessing programming activities as part of a strategic enrollment planning initiative.

Competency in the use of query tools and software utilized to collect and process applicant data is required.

Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying academic rules, policies and procedures, while utilizing sound professional judgement in decision-making.

Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and time management skills.

Experience with Hobsons Connect or other computer-based CRM systems and a commitment to use of technology and analytics in admissions operations and strategies.

Experience with PeopleSoft.

Experience working with diverse populations, maintaining, and tracking student records.

Knowledgeable in facilitating organizational development and change.


Salary $61,394 - $97,628
