Daniel Torres

Assistant Professor, Science

Daniel Torres holds a BS in Chemistry and PhD in Computational Materials Science from the University of Barcelona, Spain. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Ecole Normale Superieure of Lyon, France, and later a postdoctoral appointee at Argonne and Brookhaven National Laboratory, two of the US Department of Energy Laboratories. He devotes his career to the study of catalytic nanomaterials by means of quantum chemistry techniques and statistical methods, aiming to provide insight into the behavior of materials for energy technologies.
