Ainoa Iñigo

Assistant Professor, Modern Languages

Ainoa Iñigo received her BA in Journalism from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. She holds an MA in Spanish from City College of New York, and earned her PhD in the same field at the CUNY Graduate Center in 2014. Her dissertation is about the aesthetics in Roberto Bolaño and his conceptualization of the writer’s role in reality.

Her research interests include 20th and 21st Century Latin American, Spanish and Transatlantic literature. She is also interested in Hispanic immigrant literature in New York.
She has taught at City College, John Jay College and Hunter College of New York.
