Daly Guilamo

Assistant Professor, Center for Ethnic Studies

Daly Guilamo received her PhD in African American Studies from Temple University in 2013. She received her master's degree in Africana Studies from Cornell University in 2007, and a degree in both English and Sociology from the University of Florida in 2004. Her areas of specialization include Dominican and Haitian relations in the 21st century and Dominican nationalism and racial identity. Her doctoral dissertation is on Dominicans' attitudes towards Haitian immigrants, post-2010 earthquake.
