Dr. Benfield has over 20 years of economic and social policy experience, working on both donor assisted development projects & public policy development and on M&E in the Caribbean & Africa. He has held high-level advisory positions within the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), the World Bank Tanzania Country Office and several government agencies in the Caribbean.
He has expertise in economic and political policy issues in developing countries, having worked extensively with the PIOJ and other government agencies. Expert on policy areas central to national development and poverty reduction strategies, including the economic, social and fiscal constraints that need to be addressed to increase inclusive economic growth.
