Stefan Williams was born in Guyana and raised in New York City. He received his B.A. in International Criminal Justice from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice and his J.D. from Touro Law School on Long Island.

In law school, he was awarded the David Berg Public Interest Fellowship and worked at Federal Defenders of New York. After graduating from law school, Stefan worked as a public defender in Brooklyn representing accused individuals on a host of criminal matters. After briefly working in Family Court, Stefan joined the Tenant’s Rights Unit at New York Legal Assistance Group. Prior to joining Shulman and Hill, he was the Bronx Coordinating Attorney representing clients facing a range of housing issues in the Bronx.

Stefan has worked extensively representing the needs of clients throughout New York City, on both civil and criminal matters, and is happy to join Shulman & Hill’s Workers Compensation Division.
