Sharon Brickman is a certified public accountant and is licensed in New York State. She obtained her BS and MS degrees in Accounting from Brooklyn College. Before beginning her career in academia, she spent five years working for KPMG, one of the “Big 4″international accounting firms. During that time, she focused on serving clients in the financial services industry. Prior to her appointment as a full-time assistant professor at BMCC, she taught accounting courses as an adjunct at Brooklyn College, Long Island University and Daemen College.
