Marlaine Glicksman is a multimedia storyteller—a writer, editor, photographer, filmmaker, photo editor, and story producer—based in New York. She is currently a senior editor at Newsweek. Her writing has appeared in Al Jazeera, Newsweek, American Suburb X, Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Culture Trip, Harper’s, Interview, Vibe, and Film Comment, among other publications. She has shot for Tablet, Travel & Leisure, Vibe, and George.

Glicksman is the director/producer of THE COMMANDMENT KEEPERS, a documentary on the highly observant synagogue in Harlem. She has shot for Vibe, George, and Travel & Leisure and has written for Rolling Stone, George, Harper’s, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, and the Jerusalem Post Magazine, among other publications. Glicksman was an editor for Vogue and senior editor for Film Comment. She has been a story and editing consultant for documentaries and features including Breakfast with Scot (director Laurie Lynd), Full Disclosure (director Brian Palmer), and End of The Beginning (director Sabu Quinn).
