Lucy Marcus

Lucy Marcus is a graduate from the Hollins MFA program where she was a teaching fellow and graduate assistant. She received the Melanie Hook Rice Award in the Novel in 2018 and 2019, the 2019 Melanie Hook Rice Award in Creative Nonfiction, and the 2018 Andrew James Purdy Prize for Short Fiction. Her essays and fiction have appeared in Kestrel, The Scribes Valley Publishing Anthology, New Reader Magazine, and 805 Art + Lit.
