Dr. Emanuel, an award-winning poet, and former contributing editor for The Caribbean Voice, has recently written “My First Book About Masquerade”, which describes the rhythm of a traditional Christmas spectacle of music and dance, seen on the streets of Guyana through a child’s eyes.
Dr. Emanuel has curated a series of ‘Literary Hangs’ that brings Guyanese writing talents together.
