Jessica S. Schechter

Jessica Schechter is an award-winning director, actor, performer, and producer in New York City. She has been performing, directing, and running drama programs for over 15 years while working alongside Tony and Emmy award- winning actors and directors. Jessica is currently producing and acting in the award- winning hit web series “Soon By You” and is an acclaimed speaker, improvisor, voice over artist, and stand-up comedian presenting at conferences and community centers around the country.

Jessica studied Educational Theatre at NYU. She has an MFA in Directing from the acclaimed Actors Studio Drama School at PACE University and has worked with Tony and Emmy award winning actors and directors. She is a proud director member of the Actors Studio’s Playwright Director’s Unit. Jessica serves as the resident director for Infinite Variety Productions (IVP), a theater company dedicated to telling the untold stories of women in history.
