Carolyn Sebron holds a Master of Music degree in voice performance from The Juilliard School and a Bachelor of Music degree in voice from the University of Cincinnati. She has appeared locally with Harlem Opera Theater, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Opera Ebony, the Harlem Chamber Singers, Three on Three, the Bronx Opera and the Bronx Arts Ensemble. She was also alto soloist at the Abyssinian Baptist Church. She works to support local arts organizations. Sebron has appeared in major operatic roles at the DeutscheOper, Teatro Real Madrid, and L’Arena di Verona to name a few. A former Fulbright Scholar, she currently is a doctoral candidate in voice pedagogy at Shenandoah University.
