Resume

Dr. Alla Morgulis is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and has been working in BMCC since 2003. Dr. Morgulis has over twenty years of mathematics teaching experience in diverse, multicultural  environments in Ukraine, Israel, and USA.
She  currently is the Mathematics Major Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities are to
nourish students that already choose mathematics as their major (guidance, advisement, mentoring) and to increase number of mathematics major students (early identification of potential math students, personal contact, etc.).

Dr. Morgulis is also mentoring STEM students. They do research projects within Pre-calculus and Calculus courses. She is the Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) Coordinator of the Mathematics Department.

She has a Master degree in Applied Mathematics from National University of Kiev, Ukraine, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Prikarpatsky University, Ukraine. She teaches various mathematics courses, including a Distance Learning Statistics course.
