CUNYAC/Healthfirst Community College Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Dimon Walker, Hostos

Dimon Walker led Hostos to a pair of victories to close out the regular season for the nationally-ranked program. In a conference win at BMCC, Walker produced a double-double with 23 points and 11 assists while also recording six steals. In the finale against Nassau, she finished with 24 points, seven assists, six steals and three rebounds.

Emily Kennedy continues to be the Panther’s best player during the second half of the season, matching a career-high of 30 points and registering her fourth double-double of the year with a game-high 11 rebounds during BMCC’s outing against nationally-ranked No. 9 Hostos.

The 2023 CUNYAC Community College Women’s Basketball Championship is scheduled to begin with semifinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 14, followed by the final on Friday, Feb. 17. The semifinals and final will be played at Kingsborough Community College.
