Warm Up with A Winter Choral Concert
Step inside, away from the winter chill, and enjoy a free choral concert. The exhilarating music of several combined musical groups will warm your soul, as you enjoy the comfort of BMCC’s Theatre II.

A variety of socially and culturally responsive songs including:
- A Safe Place to Stay (by Sarah Bareilles) speaks about the challenges that immigrants face with increasing border apprehensions;
- Stand Up (from film Harriet) about overcoming obstacles and kindness for others;
- What About Us (by Pink) about the pain of many Americans who feel abandoned and unheard today;
- Say Her Name (by Alysia Lee) about movements resisting police brutality against Black women;
- Can You Hear Me? (by Thomas Hewitt Jones) about the loneliness and despair felt by many around the world during the Covid 19 pandemic; and
- Shelton Ridge Love’s arrangement of civil rights song We Shall Overcome and Tate’s Nobody Gets Left Behind, call us to stand with, and for all those in the long fight for justice.
