During the month of November, the Department of Speech, Communication, and Theatre Arts is offering a series of “walk-in” storytelling hours.  These are one-on-one coaching sessions.

All BMCC students, faculty, and staff are welcome.

You can bring your draft of any story that you’re working on and receive feedback.

The “walk-in” hours will be from 2-4 p.m. in room S-628D at 199 Chambers St. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, 11/1  with Facilitators Lisa Haas and Virginiya DiDonato
  • Wednesday, 11/15 with Facilitators Lisa Haas and Brian Lorio
  • Wednesday, 11/22 with Facilitators Lisa Haas and Brian Lorio
  • Wednesday, 11/29 with Facilitators Lisa Haas and Brian Lorio

This is your opportunity to develop material that could be performed at the upcoming Storytelling Open Mic event on Wednesday, December 6,  2-4 p.m., in Richard Harris Terrace and/or might be selected for public presentation at the upcoming BMCC Storytelling LIVE at Perelman Performing Arts Center event on Wednesday, December 20,  2-4 p.m., showcasing BMCC students, faculty and staff.
