The BMCC Learning Academy introduced a Social Justice seminar in Fall 2018. This seminar is built to empower students interested in social justice issues. Students will explore how personal identities inform their point of view, detect accurate sources to research, and learn about social justice organizations, and more over 12 weeks. Attendees will learn in detail what BLA has done in the last 4 years of teaching this seminar to students, and after the history lesson, attendees will experience what the seminar feels like with an exciting lesson from one of the 12 weeks.
