On January 20, 2025, we celebrate the birthday Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., an advocate of nonviolent activism, who dedicated his life to combating racism and fighting for justice and equality. We are honoring his legacy by organizing volunteer opportunities for BMCC to give back to the community during January.
City Meals on Wheels provides clothing, toiletries and diapers to individuals and families. We are looking for 15 BMCC student volunteers per date to assist the kitchen team with packing meals for delivery to our home bound meal recipients. All Volunteers must show up by 10:45 a.m. to check in.

All volunteers are required to complete the Travel Release Form and the Volunteer Release Waiver.
The first 100 students who sign up and participate in volunteer events during BMCC’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Days of Service will receive a commemorative volunteer t-shirt.
