Please join the BMCC Rainbow Panthers and the Student Government Association (SGA) in honoring the 2019 LGBTQ graduates of BMCC.

The Lavender Graduation ceremony is a special event to celebrate the accomplishments of  BMCC’s 2019 LGBTQ graduates.

Keynote Speaker:  Jason Schneiderman, Ph.D.


Refreshments will be served.

Each BMCC graduating senior can bring a guest.

About Jason Schneiderman:
Professor Jason Schneiderman, Department of English at BMCC, has written four books of poems, and edited an anthology of Queer texts for Oxford University Press. The recipient of the Emily Dickinson Award from the Poetry Society of America and the Jerome J. Shestack award from the American Poetry Review, his poems and essays frequently appear in a variety of journals.
