Do you have old eye glasses?
Don’t throw them away! Instead, reduce, reuse, recycle!
This Earth month we will be hosting a drive where you can donate your old mascara wands and glasses. Mascara wands will be donated to Wands for Wildlife, an organization dedicated to re-purposing discarded mascara wands for use in wildlife care.
Old eye glasses will be donated to the Lions Club International’s recycling centers, where eyeglasses will be refurbished and distributed to individuals in need. Just make sure to follow the cleaning instructions when donating!
Drop off wands and eye glasses at the Social Justice and Equity Centers office, Room S-340, 199 Chambers St.
