CUNY Career Launch 2023: Paid Summer Internships for Students (apply by Feb. 5)

This summer, 2,000 bright and ambitious CUNY students will launch their careers by interning in a job related to their major – while earning $20 per hour!

CUNY Career Launch is recruiting undergrads who haven’t had paid internship experience but are ready to apply the skills they’ve learned in the classroom to the workplace.

You will work for 7 weeks between early July until mid-August for 19 hours a week. You can take a summer class, keep your part-time job, or take care of family while you intern with CUNY Career Launch!

To qualify for a Career Launch internship, you must: 

• Be a current CUNY undergraduate student.
• Be enrolled in at least one undergraduate class for the Spring 2023 semester.
• Be within the age range of 18 – 24 years old at time of application.
• Be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.0 or higher).
• Be eligible to work in the United States (all students must have a Social Security Number to participate).
• Have not participated in Career Launch Summer 2022, Spring Forward 2023, or any other paid internship.
• Not be an employee of the CUNY Research Foundation as of July 3, 2023.
• Be available for 19 hours a week every week from early July until late August.
