Can you Haiku? Try writing a haiku poem and enter the Can You Haiku contest at BMCC. The theme of this year's contest is harmony.
The winner will receive: $25 Barnes and Noble gift card and ticket to BMCC’s annual Asian Heritage Dinner on Thursday, April 26th, 2018.
The contest is open to all BMCC students, faculty, staff and administration.
The contest runs from April 2- 19, 2018 and winners will be announced on April 20, 2018.
Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku are short poems, consisting of 17 words. The first line has 5 words, the second line 7 and the third 5. Learn more about haiku poems and how to write them.
