The Imaginary Invalid is a three act comedy written by the French playwright Molière. The plot involves a man who is a hypochondriac faced with large pharmacy bills. He comes up with the innovative solution of having his daughter marrying a doctor, so he can save on future medical expenses. However, she is not interested in this--she is already in love with someone else.
The BMCC Theatre Department's production of the Imaginary Invalid has been adapted by Professor Diane Dowling.
