How can faculty research focused on the community college intersect with calls for greater student agency?
In this year’s Joe Doctor Colloquium we will consider a model of community college research that aligns community college faculty researchers with student collaborators and participants. BMCC faculty members will share ongoing projects that bring faculty and student investigations into a broader conversation that challenges data-driven approaches to community college research. Building on a student collaborative model, we will also consider the role played by experiential learning at BMCC.
