The hotels, travel and tourism industry is a vibrant and diverse sector of the global marketplace. Hotels, Travel and Tourism (HTT) students are prepared for positions in various segments of the hospitality industry: lodging, restaurant management, convention centers, cruise lines and theme parks to name a few. Graduates of the BMCC course of study will have experienced a well-rounded education combined with business and life-skills all in high–demand with employers.
Internships and Real World Experience
Students acquire skills through experiential learning and internships. You will learn from faculty with real world experience and great connections. Professionals from within the industry speak at classes and advise students. Students in the program have had the opportunity to visit top NYC hotels and tour cruise ships. HTT students have Interned/trained or been employed by The Waldorf Astoria, Hiton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, The Chatwal A Luxury Collection Hotel NYC, Disney Land California and Sephora.
Continuing Your Studies
Students transfer seamlessly to the NY CityTech Bachelor in Hospitality Management through BMCC’s articulation agreement.
