Long Island City resident Zsu Zsa Kormendy will receive the Medal of Excellence for Academic Achievement at the Borough of Manhattan Community College honors convocation on May 28. A human services major, Kormendy is graduating on May 31 with a 3.97 grade point average.
The Dean’s Award is given to a full-time student graduating "with high distinction." LaMotte is graduating from BMCC on June 4 with a 3.99 grade point average.
Gregoria Majchrzyk will receive the Dean’s Award at the Borough of Manhattan Community College Honors Convocation on May 27. Ms. Majchrzyk is an accounting major with a 3.99 grade point average.
