BMCC Honors student Jacob Serra aces the transition back to academic and civilian life.
BMCC men's soccer sophomore Ohionameh Aregbeyen wins the 2007 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars Award. "Ohi," as he is known, led the men's soccer team as a captain and maintained a 3.97 cumulative GPA.
Long Island City resident Zsu Zsa Kormendy will receive the Medal of Excellence for Academic Achievement at the Borough of Manhattan Community College honors convocation on May 28. A human services major, Kormendy is graduating on May 31 with a 3.97 grade point average.
