The Office of Testing is responsible for administering the CUNY Assessment Test (CATs). Students are required to take the CATs in reading, writing and mathematics; unless CUNY’s college readiness requirements have been met. See if you need to test
In certain cases, students may be afforded certain accommodations during examinations. Some examples of test accommodations are: extended time, readers/scribes, spell checker.
Before you schedule your test appointment, register your accommodations with the Office of Accessibility.
