ECE 202 - Curriculum for Young Children I

This course is an introduction to the theories, methods and materials of curriculum planning in early childhood education (preschool through second grade). The following topics are explored in depth: the role of the teacher; the learning environment; visual arts; music and movement; language development/emergent literacy and children's literature. Prerequisite: ECE 102
