This is a study abroad course in which students will understand the unique nature, challenges, resources, and opportunities that affect social ventures in emerging economies. Students will learn first‐hand the very different environmental conditions under which people live and work in a different part of the world, as well as experience the spirit of social entrepreneurs who find innovative ways to solve social problems within a market economy.
Program Fee: $2,486 (includes international airfare, health insurance, and program‐related transportation in India, excursions, housing and some meals, as well as the 60% scholarship for BMCC Students) Additional Costs: BMCC tuition and fees for 3 credits, as well as out‐of‐pocket costs for personal expenses, visa, tips, and out‐of‐pocket meals. Optional side trips to local tourist attractions may also incur additional costs.
