French Heritage

FRN 476 - 3 credits, 3 hours


Location: Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec
June 11 – June 26, 2017 (Summer Intersession)

Students will enhance their knowledge of French and Francophone language and culture through class meetings, seminars, and an experiential component which includes visits to sites of historic and cultural importance such as Québec City and typical farming centers.

Program Fee: $700 (approximately - includes international airfare, health insurance, and program-¬‐related transportation in Montreal, excursions, housing and some meals)

Additional Costs: BMCC tuition and fees for 3 credits, as well as out‐of‐pocket costs for personal expenses, visa, tips, and out‐of‐pocket meals. Optional side trips to local tourist attractions may also incur additional costs.

Prerequisite: FRN 102 or 106 or proficiency in FRN 102 or above (as determined by the MLD placement test) plus at least 3 credits in any foreign language taught at CUNY.
