Need help with groceries? Come to the Single Stop office and see if you are eligible for SNAP benefits! We can help you, and your family get more food on the table and keep up to $200 in your pocket!!
SNAP is a program administered by the United States Department of Agriculture that provides extra income for food that can be purchased at most supermarkets and grocery stores. Using an online application, the staff at Single Stop applies for the SNAP benefit on the students’ behalf during a short and confidential session with one of our SNAP benefit experts. Household members who reside with a BMCC student are also eligible to apply at the Single Stop Office. Single Stop can also submit recertification applications for SNAP and we have the ability to send any documents that have been requested by the Human Resources Administration (HRA) to them directly even if you did not apply at Single Stop.
Stop by the Single Stop Office in S235 to see if you qualify and to set up an appointment to complete the online application.
