William Morehouse Scholarship Program

Who Is Eligible:

The William Morehouse Scholarship is available to all qualifying students across New York State. Undergraduates who are attending or planning on attending a one, two or four-year college or certificate program studying construction or related fields are eligible for this scholarship.

Applicant MUST desire and PURSUE a career in construction or a construction related field. A dual degree in related fields is acceptable. Student can be enrolled full or part time.


Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or documented permanent resident of the United States (i.e. must possess a green card)

 

 


Requirements:

Applicant is responsible for ensuring all items listed below are fully completed and submitted as one package.

A complete package consists of the following:
1. Completed four page, signed application.
2. Three evaluation forms.
a. One form from high school or college advisor.
b. Two forms completed by adults not related to the applicant.
3. Official transcript (see item II E of application).
4. Copy of acceptance letter from the college that applicant plans on attending.
5. A head & shoulder photograph (i.e. high school yearbook photo) of applicant and signed photo release form.


Deadline: 03/02/2018
Amount: $500 minimum per student per year
