Institute of Industrial Engineers Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship

Who Is Eligible:
IE’s scholarship and fellowship program is in place to recognize undergraduate industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership. The awards are valued up to $4,000.

*BMCC Students who are transferring to a four-year university to study industrial engineering should contact that particular schools' Engineering Department to obtain a nomination.


Requirements:

3.4 minimum GPA.

Must be nominated by department head.

Be an active member as reflective on your October chapter roster or before.

New member applications must be completely processed prior to the end of September in order for students to be eligible.

Must have a graduation date of May/June 2018 or later.

 


Deadline: 11/15/2018 November 15th, annually

How to apply:

Students may not apply directly for any scholarships except the IIE Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship. They must be nominated by IE department heads and nomination must be mailed to the Institute headquarters by Nov. 15. Scholarship nominations open Sept. 1.

Deadline exceptions:

Students will be sent an application package to complete and return to IIE. Applications must be postmarked on or before Feb. 1. This applies to all scholarships and fellowships except the John L. Imhoff and John S.W. Fargher scholarships.
