Mission

The Office of the Registrar, as a division of Academic Affairs, supports teaching and learning by maintaining the integrity of academic policies and the student information system. The ultimate goal of the Office of the Registrar is to support the college's overall mission of access and excellence by providing a service-centered environment to the college community. The Office of the Registrar is committed to be ethical, diverse, purposeful, just, disciplined, and eco-friendly.

The Office of the Registrar has the following goals

  • Support increased retention and graduation rates.
  • Pursue ongoing improvements to customer service for students, faculty, staff, e.g., better communications, focus on options, streamline processes, empower autonomy and self-service.
  • Be proactive, solution-oriented, and mindful of the user perspective in adopting innovative solutions and technological improvements.
  • Foster an environment for staff which supports continuous learning: e.g., about improving skills (managerial, analytical, supervisory, technical, communication, etc.), about the campus community and the role of the Registrar's Office.
