Early registration/ advisement dates

How to Determine When to be Advised and Registered

Early advisement and registration dates are based on the number of credits you WILL complete by the end of the current semester.*
For example, if in previous semesters you completed 18 credits and are currently taking 12 credits, your total credits are 30. You can receive advisement from October 11 through December 3. If you wish to register in person you will be given a registration date sometime between December 1 through December 5 provided your GPA is 2.0 or above. However, it should be noted that in person registration will take place in the back of the Registrar's Office using the online registration system, Panther.

 

GPA is 2.00 or Above and Number of Credits is 40 or Greater
Advisement October 4 - December 3
In Person Registration* November 30 - December 5
Web Registration** Begins November 16

 

GPA is 2.00 or Above and Number of Credits is 25 or Greater
Advisement October 11 - December 3
In Person Registration* December 1 - December 5
Web Registration** Begins November 16

 

GPA is 2.00 or Above and Number of Credits is Fewer Than 25
Advisement October 12 - December 3
In Person Registration* December 2 - December 5
Web Registration** Begins November 16

 

GPA is Below 2.00
Advisement October 26 - December 3
In Person Registration*

Winter: January 4
Spring: January 19

 

** Appointments are assigned each day based on the number of credits completed. Those students with the highest number of credits, will be given the earliest appointments. Your web registration appointment is generally one week prior to your in-person registration date. You will be notified by letter or e-mail of your web registration appointment. Once assigned, you can also check your web registration appintment by logging on to Panther.
