Benefits

Transfer Scholarships

Members may apply for more than $37 million in transfer scholarships provided exclusively to Society members by more than 700 senior institutions.

CollegeFish.org free enrollment

Members have free access to Phi Theta Kappa's online transfer tool that allows them to research colleges, learn about transfer scholarships, manage important transfer dates and deadlines, and communicate with four-year college representatives to ensure a smooth transfer to a four-year college.

Volunteer Opportunity

Members have ample opportunity for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service work.

Five Star Competitive Edge

Phi Theta Kappa provides its members the opportunity to improve their communication, leadership, teambuilding, and goal-setting skills through hands-on leadership activities and online video courseware. Members can design a self-paced plan allowing them to choose how competitive they want to be, from one star to five stars. The requirements at each level provide members with experience based on Phi Theta Kappa's four Hallmarks: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship. Members can also build an online portfolio that will showcase their accomplishments, and that they can share with scholarship providers, admissions officials, and potential employers.

Membership Credentials

Members receive The Golden Key Membership Pin, Membership Certificate, and Membership ID Card.

Phi Theta Kappa Graduation Regalia

Members may purchase and wear The Society's Honors Stole, Tassel and additional graduation regalia at college commencements.

The Diploma Seal may be affixed to the member's community college diploma to denote Society membership.

Transcript Notation

Members can request letters of recommendation to their college admission counselors, scholarship officials or potential employers.

Letters of Commendation

Most active members receive letters of commendation from the College President acknowledging their academic achievement and community involvement.
