How to Apply

Here are the steps to enroll in the MEOC:

1. Information Session

Get an overview of all MEOC programs, services and the enrollment process in person at one of our Admissions Sessions.

2. Placement Testing

The Test of Adult Basic Education or TABE is a math and reading assessment exam which helps us place you in the right course. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the program you want, you may be placed in another program you qualify for and then retake the TABE at the end of the semester.

3. Admissions

To be admitted, you must complete an application and bring in all necessary identification, income, residency and education documentation (see the checklist) to verify their eligibility to the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Records. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will then meet with an Academic Advisor to complete a career plan. Click on: Admissions Form to apply to the MEOC.

4. Orientation

Student orientation is held before registration. During orientation, you will learn about the MEOC policies and procedures and meet administrative staff.

5. Registration

The registration process is conducted at the beginning of each semester. On registration day, you will given a schedule of classes for your program.
