Here are the steps to enroll in the MEOC:
Get an overview of all MEOC programs, services and the enrollment process in person at one of our Admissions Sessions. To be admitted, you must complete an application and bring in all necessary documentation (see the checklist) to the Admissions Office to verify your eligibility.
The Test of Adult Basic Education or TABE is a reading and math admissions exam, which helps us place you in the right program. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the program you want, you may be placed in another program you qualify for and then retake the TABE at the end of the semester. You will meet with an Advisor to review your scores and program eligibility.
Student orientation is held before registration and where you will learn about the MEOC policies and procedures. Immediately following orientation, you will be registered and receive your schedule and student ID. Books can be issued on the same day or any day before the first day of classes.
