Math Video

The Math Lab makes available a number of free services to students registered in BMCC math courses. This includes tutoring, which is offered on a drop-in basis.

The Math Lab houses a large selection of worksheets as well as make-up tests and retests for many courses, and also stocks an extensive collection of computer programs and videos.

The lab is divided into a number of sections:

The Front Desk, Worksheets, Testing, Administration, Tutoring, Drop-in Computers, Video, and the Computer Classroom.

If you sit at the table with the sign for your math course, the tutor there will be especially experienced in tutoring this course. Tutor schedules are posted on the bulletin board located at the entrance of the lab.

Lab tutors wear an orange recognition badge, so the students can easily recognize them. Notice the course sign above each table in the tutoring area.

Testing in the Math lab

All testing in the Math Lab will only be administered with a validated photo ID.  If you are planning to take the MAT 056 or MAT 206 exemption test you must arive at least 15 minutes before the test starting  time shown below, and have your CUNYfirst ID number.  If you do not know your CUNYfirst ID number, you will not be able to take the test.

Testing times for the Spring 2014 semester are as follows:

(Students should be present in the Math Lab 15 minutes before the testing time)

MON -- 12:00 pm

WED -- 6:00 pm

THU -- 11:00 am

SAT -- 11 am
