REMEDIAL COURSES & CUNY FRESHMAN SKILLS EXAM
Placement in remedial mathematices courses is determined by scores on the Compass Math exam part of the CUNY Skills Assessment.
There are two levels of remediation:
1 Arithmetic (MAT 010 or MAT 011) and
2 Algebra (MAT 051 or MAT 012)
 
To determine whether you are exempt from remedial courses, please contact Academic Advisement or the Math department.
