Computer Labs

The LRC maintains five instructional computer labs. The S-500R, S-502, S-500S and S-500A. Computer Labs are equipped with 20-30 workstations each and are available to individuals, classes and small groups for self-paced exercises, scheduled and walk-in tutoring, computer-based tutorial programs, access to classroom-supported software, and computer training workshops.

The CIS/CSC Lab (S-500C) has 28 workstations and provides scheduled and walk-in tutoring, workshops and open lab services for students enrolled in CIS/CSC and graphics courses.

The labs are staffed with coordinators, tutors and student assistants who provide lab users with assistance, whatever their level of need. Some of the services we offer students include:

  • Open lab hours for students to work on their own to complete assignments, explore and enhance their computer skills;
  • Support for classroom related computing activities, study skills and course specific software; and
  • Troubleshooting and help with files, disks or questions about PC's related to coursework.
